With a range of eateries from the sublime to the convenient, Carmel Valley Restaurants and Dining are first class! From the award winning Arterra Restaurant at the Marriott, with its gourmet food and upscale ambience, to the Karl Strauss Brewing Company with its surprising koi ponds and gardens, robust food and fine brew, there are so many choices! The Lodge at Torrey Pines is among the highest rated fine dining in the country.
Besides an abundance of the best eat in or take outs, like Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza and Pat and Oscars, the next door town of Del Mar is known for its intimate little cafes with fantastic food and views. A few miles away, along the beach, there are many seafood restaurants.
Each of the “villages” within Carmel Valley has countless restaurants for those nights when you just don’t want to cook: Taste of Italy, Rubios, Souplantation, Joey’s Smokin’ Barbecue, Daphne’s Greek Cuisine, Red Robin, and Addison’s at the Grand Golf Club.
Carmel Mountain, to the east a few miles, has a few more restaurants to offer: BBQ Republic, and Pick Up Stix!! There is certainly no shortage of dining in the Carmel Valley area, you could try one every night and never be done in a year!!
