Of the list of 31 within a ten mile radius the following courses are rated municipal or public: Lomas Santa Fe Executive, Encinitas Ranch, Doubletree, Torrey Pines, Maderas, Rancho Carlsbad, The Crossings at Carlsbad, The Vineyard at Escondido, Oaks North, RB Inn, Carmel Mtn. Ranch, and Lake San Marcos Executive.
Many of these are popular among the locals, with Torrey Pines as the most famous. Home of tournaments and known for its ocean views and elegant locale, its no wonder! With the near perfect San Diego climate, golf is a serious part of our culture!
